For several days, you and your horse become part of the landscape you're travelling through.
The weather changes. So does the terrain. Sometimes we take it slowly; sometimes there is room to pick up the pace. Each day ends somewhere new.

You need confident riding skills and experience on varied terrain.
If you've been out of the saddle for a while, or want to prepare for several days of riding, regular ESSI practice can help you get ready.
